Eric Lapierre

Born in Tarbes, in 1966.
DPLG architect, urban planner, theoretician and critic, lecturer at the Ecole d’Architecture de Marne-La-Vallée and at the Accademia di archittetura di Mendrisio, winner of the Prix de la Première Œuvre du Moniteur 2003, Grande Médaille d’Argent of the Académie d’Architecture 2006, member of the Steering Committee of the PUCA and the Commission of Old Paris.
He works from an office based in Paris.

Professional Experience

Within Eric Lapierre Experience, Eric Lapierre Architecture intervenes in the sector of housing and public equipment, on both public and private markets. His work examines, through projects in boundary states, the formal, permanent principles of architecture and the evolution of their significance in the ordinary contemporary condition.
The agency has won several awards and honours, both in France and overseas.
The agency is currently working on over 1000 homes and is regularly invited to competitions in France and overseas.
